The AMG GT 4-Door coupe range of the V8-powered model will receive minor updates, following the V6-powered model updates from last year, the 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 S get modest yet significant design modifications, with an essential performance boost for its mid-cycle update. The changes will be similar to those seen on the range's most powerful member, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance PHEV.
Color selections have also been changed as part of the style improvements. Customers will have a total of four matte paints, four metallic tones, and two solid colors to choose from with the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe 63 and 63 S.
Green Light Magno and the dark gemstone shade, Manufaktur Rubellite Red Metallic will be exclusive paint finishes for the Editions models. The new colors are accompanied by a pair of 21-inch AMG forged wheels.
Mercedes Benz has introduced also new colors and trims including the AMG Performance steering wheel on the inside.
The AMG Ride Control+ suspension with constantly adjustable pressure relief valves is standard on both the AMG GT 63 and AMG GT 63 S. The top-of-the-line AMG GT 4-Door Coupe maintains its turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, which produces 585 horsepower (430 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-meters) of torque for the GT 63. Meanwhile, The GT 63 S receives a more powerful tune with 639 horsepower (470 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque.
The new AMG GT 63 and GT 63 S are now available with prices starting at €158,162.90. They will be available in European showrooms starting in April 2022.
