Still on the constant never ending quest of appealing to all customers, now Chevrolet is working on a performance version of their new Blazer EV. The announcement was made in the form of a short teaser, giving a small glimpse of the New Blazer SS. Chevrolet made the promise to make a complete reveal sometime this year with the full commercialization of the model coming on 2023. All as a part of the EV announcement spree made by GM, who recently announced no less than 2 other EV models, all bearing the names of traditional successful cars with great history in the market, now making their entrance into the electric era.
The Blazer EV was a 2023 promise, as the second Chevrolet EV model to be on sale next year, and now it’s evident that the automaker is going full speed down the EV road, with the newest announcement of the Blazer SS for the same launch year as the two other models.
Sadly, the teaser didn’t go beyond the charging port and the wheel. but that was enough to catch the attention of EV fans. certain details were obvious, like the black plastic cladding around the wheel well and the sharply raked hood, viewers could also notice the SS badge at the base of one of the wheel’s six spokes.
With this new model, Chevy’s intentions are now more or less obvious, we can safely assume that the Blazer EV will focus more on the comfort side, while the performance side will be reserved for the SS variant
