Alfa Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio to Get Cool New Headlights for 2024 (caranddriver.com)

Alfa Romeo is planning an update for the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV models. But it will be limited to a few minor changes on both the exterior and interior.

It has been so long since the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV were launched. We can all agree that both models are in dire need of refreshment. This year, the Italian carmaker is finally granting us our wish, well, sort of…

Alfa Romeo already announced that the days of the ICE Stelvio and Giulia are numbered; the brand has scheduled the launch of new electric replacements in the coming few years. Based on that, maybe we can start to understand why Alfa Romeo decided to do minimal updates on two models that are quickly becoming outdated. Alfa Romeo spokesperson announced that the complete specs and features will be announced at some point in the middle of next year. But we already have a comprehensive summary of the few major changes that we’re going to see.

Both models will receive new headlight and taillight designs, the headlights will feature LED matrix technology in an attempt to pull the model close to the new Tonale crossover front fascia design. The tail lights will simply have rearranged LED elements.[i]

Inside the cabin, the dashboard will be equipped with a new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster featuring three display modes: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage.

Under the hood, its business as usual, the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four and the eight-speed automatic transmission will remain in their places, continuing to make 280 horsepower. Even the Quadrifoglio performance variants will keep the 505 hp twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6.

The updated models will arrive in the United States by the end of 2023 at a slightly higher price than the current $45,875 for the 2023 Giulia and $48,170 for the 2023 Stelvio.
