Audi is celebrating 25 years of the Audi TT with a special “Iconic Edition”, marking the beginning of the end of the unique TT.

Audi TT is taking a similar path to that of the Audi R8. Both Audi models are ending their years in service with a series of remarkable special editions. And as part of the 25 years celebrations, the TT is getting the special Iconic Edition. The car will be based on the TT RS and limited to 100 units, destined to be sold in Europe and the UK.

The Iconic Edition beating heart is a 2.5-liter five-cylinder with 400 metric horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, distributing power to all four wheels.

Gloss black is the dominant theme of the car’s design, covering numerous elements on the exterior; starting with the grill, Audi & TT RS logos, mirror caps, side skirt inlays, and finally the carbon fiber Aerokit. Several small auditions are found in the TT Iconic Edition, such as a front splitter, intake blades, side flics, and a more ornate rear wing. The Gloss black makes another appearance on the wheel set, covering the seven-arm 20-inch alloys, and the matching brake calipers. Under them, for a bit of contrast, Audi added titanium-looking Quattro badges and partially frosted rear triangular windows with “Iconic Edition” lettering.

Audi took good care of the TT interior as well, giving it an elegant makeover with two-tone RS sport seats with Jet Gray Nappa side panels and black Alcantara center panels highlighted with Calendula Yellow honeycomb stitching. This pattern of black and yellow repeats itself all over the cabin, especially on the instrument panel, door armrests, and the center mark on the RS sport steering wheel. The final unique touch is a serialized badge atop the shift lever, indicating the unit's number among its 100 twins.

So if you have 113,050 Euros sitting somewhere, you better get yourself on that waiting list before it gets filled. Audi says that deliveries will start sometime during the first quarter of 2023.
