Ford truck group marketing manager, Todd Eckert said: “Our new F-150 Rattler offers aspiring adventurers an off-road option with expressive looks and capability in one package”, “This truck builds off the F-150 off-road legacy while allowing us to introduce new customers to the right blend of styling and value in the F-150 lineup.”
The F-150 Rattler package is a collection of off-road features based on the XL series, including FX4 content with skid plates to help ensure tough protection and vehicle confidence during off-road adventures. The system comes with an electronic rear-locking differential to provide enhanced traction, and hill descent control to help maintaining precision throttle. It also has specially tuned off-road shock absorbers for increased stability over rugged terrain. F-150 Rattler includes all-terrain tires to enhance its versatility and capability.
The Ford F-150 Rattler package boasts a dual exhaust system with an aggressive sound and a bold appearance, as well as 18-inch painted aluminum wheels that contribute to its powerful appearance.
The seats are trimmed with onyx featuring rich bronze accents to match the trim on the instrument panel, creating a unique desert-inspired interior. The exterior of the vehicle is available in Oxford White, Avalanche, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Antimatter Blue, Stone Gray, Agate Black, and Rapid Red TriCoat (Extra-cost paint).
