Mercedes-Benz E-Class was spotted recently, wearing minimal camouflage, the sedan looks ready to enter production.
Although there’s no confirmation about the E-Class release date, recent photos are showing a quasi-complete car with finished design details and minimal camouflage. Not only on the exterior but on the interior as well.
Speaking of the interior, the photo we currently have, shows a draped dashboard. But that wasn’t enough to hide the brand-new central screen that stretches over most of the cockpit, as it’s now customary with all new mercs. Unofficial sources state that the main display is an 11.9-inch screen, and a larger 2.9-inch OLED screen will be available as a premium option.

Walking around the car reveals an almost finished exterior, with camouflage governing the front and rear end only.
The final design doesn’t stray far away from the early prototypes with its classy black finish, smooth subtle wrinkle running across the side and breaking beautifully near the middle, and shiny chrome outlines and door handles. The front design is not entirely covered, we can already make out a larger grill and thinner headlights than those we find on the current model.
The E-Class powertrain will have several hybrid variations, the pure twin-turbocharged V8 won’t be alone anymore. The standard setup will feature a 48-volt mild hybrid tech, while other variations of hybrid and plug-in hybrid setups will be available.
