With its rearward-sloping roof and more aggressive design, the new 911 RSR is the latest evolution of the iconic 911 sports car, it is an updated version that will replace the current 991.2 version that has been racing globally since 2019.
Porsche’s new model has already completed extensive testing in Europe and will race in pre-homologation trim later this year.

This new vehicle is built to feel more like a racecar, thanks to the implementation of more sophisticated driver assistance technology which provides even more safety and makes it easier to adapt to changing road conditions.
The new software package’s features include a more flexible driving mode selector and incorporate data from laps over longer distances in order to help drivers maximize their performance and fuel economy over long stretches of time.
“In the past, you had three or four different software tools on your notebook, and you needed to have different cables,”. Program manager Sebastian Golz stated.
“Now you just have to plug in one cable, and you have more functions with one software. It’s easier to access and work with the car, from an engineering systems side.
“The customer is able to adapt settings and it makes life much easier. Compared to thinking about connecting the ABS with this converter, that cable, and that software that you have to install… now you have everything in one tool.” Golz added.
