One of the most awaited GMC models, the ’24 GMC Acadia, was caught recently doing high-altitude testing in Colorado.

GMC is racing the time to prepare the car for its approaching launch date, the ’24 GMC Acadia is the latest crossover from the carmaker, and as these spy shots show, it has reached the final stages of testing. The new pictures revealed that the ‘24 Acadia comes with some new additions compared to the previous model.

On the exterior, we can clearly see that the new Acadia is significantly larger than its predecessor, which is indeed a return to the large crossover design of the first-generation Acadia.

On the interior, the new changes are striking, it looked like the entire cabin was redesigned, sporting a new steering wheel and a new central screen, even if we still don’t see it in the car yet, its place is quite clear, same for the new air vents and cup holders placements.

You might be curious about what’s happening under the hood. Unfortunately, no info is available yet, But it’s highly expected that the ’24 Acadia will keep the previous model engine options, which are a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 228 horsepower, or a 3.6-liter V6 good for 310 hp.

Alternatively, GMC may surprise everybody by using a modified version of the Chevrolet Colorado turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder, making a maximum of 310 hp. There’s a slim chance of that happening, but it’s still a possibility.
