General Motors will offer the next-generation Chevrolet Colorado with a single-engine—the new turbo 2.7L four-cylinder, the current models' 2.5L four and 3.6L engines and 2.8L diesel will be discontinued. In the 2019–2021 Chevy Silverado, the 2.7L turbocharged V-6 is rated at 310 horsepower and 348 lb.-ft. of torque. For the 2022 model year, Chevy increased the V-6’s torque output to 420 lb.-ft.
