The fabric

Why CR-Grade Neoprene

  • Genuine CR-grade neoprene

The same CR-grade neoprene used in premium wetsuits. There are many grades of neoprene, our CR-Grade is near the top-level of protection, feel and durability.

  • Dense foam + non-slip back

A half-inch dense foam layer is laminated under the face fabric, with a non-slip backing below that helps covers stay put.

  • Extra UV treatment

We add an extra application of UV treatment on the face fabric which aids in reduction of fading from the sun's UV rays.

Seat covers

Why Coverking® Custom Seat Covers

  • 3D scanned custom seat cover patterns

For 20+ years Coverking has built custom seat cover patterns from 3D vehicle scans that follow original seat stitch lines — for a more accurate fit and better durability than a generic cover. Patterns are refined to each fabric, as stretch and bulk change cover fit and sew; when a seat requires, we make hand patterns. The result is a true custom seat cover made to fit well and install cleanly.

  • OEM seam lines, not a single tight panel

Coverking® custom seat covers are cut and sewn in panels that follow the seat’s original seam lines, so the cover tracks the real shape of the back and cushion — not one big bag stretched over everything. Many covers use a single panel for the whole seat and pull it extra tight to hide a poor pattern; that can look wrong, feel wrong, and fight you on install. Matching OEM seams gives a cleaner factory look and a more natural fit.

  • Everything included in the price, no extras or upcharges

Coverking® custom seat covers include headrests, airbag cutouts, and map pockets on every order — not as extra-cost add-ons. Console covers are included with split bench trucks with consoles. Armrest covers are included when your fitment calls for them and are noted in the fitment options. And Coverking® includes a free $29.99-value installation kit. A complete custom set shouldn’t require a second shopping trip for the pieces that finish the job.

  • Coverking install videos on laptop with custom seat cover and installation kit

    1,000+ full installation instructional videos

Unlike a single-page illustration, Coverking® takes the time to produce full, start-to-finish custom seat cover installation videos showing the full installation — for every pattern — we likely have one for your specific year, make, and model of vehicle. Watch the entire process before you buy so you know exactly how the install works. Don’t spend money on a cover you can’t put on with confidence.

  • Widest selection of engineered fabrics

Coverking® offers one of the widest selections of engineered fabrics — built for real vehicle use, not generic cloth. With 40 years of experience, we continue to ask our customers for feedback, and we proactively look for changing trends in the way people use their vehicles. We don't buy off the shelf fabrics - we spec what is required, engineer a textile design and testing, then find the best mill and treatment options. Everything along the way is tested and documented. It's a world of difference from the rest of the industry.

  • Coverking custom seat cover installation kit included free

    $29.99 Installation kit included free

Every Coverking® custom seat cover order includes a free installation kit — a $29.99 value. The kit includes the Coverking® Easy Install Tool, two non-slip traction pads to keep covers in place, a Kevlar glove to protect your hand underneath the seats, and safety glasses to keep your eyes safe. Only Coverking® includes everything you need for a perfect installation — add to this the custom installation videos, and you are set for the best install.

  • Coverking in-house materials testing equipment

    In-house materials testing

Only Coverking® designs its own textiles — durability, stretch, cleanability, hand, water-resistance, then we work with mills to weave to that specification. Candidate materials are tested by Coverking® in-house testing machines for abrasion, stretch and recovery, seam strength and UV. Every batch of fabric is tested before it enters Coverking® inventory. The result is engineered seat cover fabrics controlled by Coverking® from specification through ongoing batch testing — not a low cost fabric roll sold by a fabric distributor.

The Coverking difference

Why Coverking®

  • Coverking True vehicle-specific patterns — Coverking company

    True vehicle-specific patterns

Beware of "almost fits." Coverking laser-scans every seat, dash, windshield, and floorwell, then patterns each cover for exactly one vehicle - yours - and builds it to order. Universal brands stretch a few "close enough" patterns across thousands of vehicles. We've built one for each

  • Coverking production floor

    We make everything we sell

Notice how many brands sell the same cover? That's because it IS the same cover. Some brands sell products they neither designed nor manufacture. Coverking owns the pattern, controls production in Coverking-owned facilities, and supports the product after the sale. It's why we can fix your cover when needed. Nobody can support a product they didn't build.

  • Built to the automakers' own standard

We don't grade our own homework. Coverking supplied OEMs as a Tier-1 supplier for nearly four decades, certified to the auto industry's own quality systems - ISO-9001, QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, now IATF 16949. It's the standard your vehicle was built under. Other covers almost never are.

  • Coverking headquarters, Anaheim, California

    Anaheim roots, global reach

Coverking started in Anaheim, California and never left. Design, engineering, marketing, customer service, and significant manufacturing all run from our Anaheim factory; factories overseas are ours and they build only Coverking products.

  • 21-day satisfaction guarantee

Three full weeks to decide. If it's not what you wanted, send it back within 21 days of delivery for a refund of the product price less shipping costs. The conditions in plain sight instead of fine print: the covers come back new, unused and re-sellable. Embroidered or personalized products can't be returned.

  • Warranty without an asterisk — no fine print

    Warranty without an asterisk

No pro-rating. No fine print. No claim forms, registration deadlines or technicalities. Send the cover back to us. That's the entire process, same as it's been for four decades. Compare that with any other company. Oh-and when the warranty ends, Coverking Care begins.

  • Coverking Care - lifelong support

Warranties end. Support shouldn't. When yours is up, every Coverking product graduates to Coverking Care: for as long as you own your vehicle, send us the worn cover and we'll repair or replace it for a significant discount. We build every product to order so we can always build yours again.

  • Coverking Family-led since 1986 — Coverking company

    Family-owned and managed since 1986

From a 1,500 sq ft shop in 1986 to a 100,000 sq ft Anaheim factory — forty years this year, and the founding family still runs the company. No private equity, no parent conglomerate. We answer to our customers, not a quarterly profit report. We just love cars and trucks, and we want to help you protect and enjoy yours.

CR-Grade neoprene, explained

Neoprene earned its reputation in the ocean. It is the material premium wetsuits are made of — a chloroprene rubber (the CR in CR-Grade) that resists water, insulates, and stretches without losing its shape. Coverking has been tailoring that same material to vehicle seats for 25 years. Here is what that means for your interior.

What CR-Grade means — and what it does not

Much of what is sold online as a neoprene seat cover is printed polyester foam — a fabric embossed to look like neoprene, without the closed-cell rubber core that does the work. Genuine CR-grade neoprene is different: the chloroprene layer keeps spills, sweat, and moisture from ever reaching your upholstery. It is the difference between a material that repels water and one that eventually soaks it up.

Patterned to your seats, not a shape like them

Coverking maintains one of the largest custom seat-pattern libraries in the industry. Seats are digitally scanned in 3D, and engineers spend weeks refining each pattern around the real contours, headrests, armrests, consoles, and levers of a specific vehicle — including seat-mounted airbags and full seat function. Every set is then cut and sewn to order for your exact year, make, model, and trim. That is why these covers look upholstered rather than slipcovered.

Layered for comfort and protection

  • Face fabric — genuine CR-grade neoprene with additional UV treatment, so color stands up to sun exposure.
  • Core — a half-inch of dense laminated foam that adds comfort and rounds off wear points.
  • Backing — a non-slip layer that keeps covers planted as you get in and out.

Seams are finished with name-brand zippers and hook-and-loop, and covers extend to headrests, armrests, and consoles where the vehicle has them.

Installation and care

Every set ships with Coverking's free installation kit — a tuck tool, two anchor traction pads, a Kevlar glove, and safety glasses — and installs with no special tools. For care, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; because neoprene keeps spills on the surface, most messes never become stains.

Who makes these

Coverking has engineered custom vehicle covers since 1986 and has supplied original-equipment manufacturers for 38 years. Design, engineering, patterning, and support are based at the 100,000-square-foot Anaheim, California headquarters, and facilities are IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified — the same quality standards automakers require of their own suppliers. Every cover is made to order and backed by a 30-day return policy, a manufacturer warranty, and U.S.-based support.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are neoprene seat covers waterproof?

The CR-grade neoprene face fabric is the same closed-cell material used in wetsuits, so the material itself blocks water, spills, and sweat from reaching your seats. Covers are sewn rather than welded, so they are best described as highly water-resistant — more than enough for wet swimsuits, dogs, drinks, and daily life.

What is the difference between CR-grade neoprene and cheaper "neoprene" covers?

Many covers sold as neoprene are actually printed polyester foam — a fabric embossed to look like neoprene without the chloroprene rubber core. CR-grade neoprene is the genuine wetsuit material. It costs more to make, but it is what delivers the water resistance, stretch, and durability neoprene is known for.

Will these fit my exact seats?

Yes — each set is cut and sewn to order from a pattern engineered for your specific year, make, model, and trim. Patterns account for headrests, armrests, consoles, levers, and seams, so the finished cover follows your seats like upholstery instead of a universal slipcover.

Are they compatible with side airbags?

Yes. Patterns are designed to work seamlessly with seat-mounted side airbags and preserve full seat function, including adjustments and folding.

What comes in the box?

Your covers plus Coverking's free installation kit: a tuck tool designed for seat covers, two anchor traction pads to keep covers from shifting, a Kevlar glove, and safety glasses for working under the seat.

How hard is installation?

No special tools are required. Covers slip over the seats and anchor with Coverking-engineered straps and buckles, and the included tuck tool helps pass material through tight spots. Coverking also maintains a library of over 1,000 installation videos.

How do I clean neoprene seat covers?

For everyday care, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. Because the neoprene layer keeps spills on the surface, most messes clean up before they ever become stains.

What if they don't work out?

Coverking backs every set with a 30-day return policy, a manufacturer warranty, and U.S.-based support. Even after the warranty ends, Coverking offers repair-or-replace service for a flat service fee.
