Coverking teamed up with professional vehicle designers and customizers, who are creating custom vehicles for the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. One of these is Neil Tjin, president of the Tjin Edition Road Show, who has been building Image Vehicles since 1998 for Honda, Ford, Chevrolet and many other OE and aftermarket manufacturers.
Tjin was recently awarded three vehicles, two from Ford Motor Company that includes a 2018 Ford Focus RS and a 2018 Ford F-150 Super Crew pickup, as well as a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe from Hyundai Motors USA. All of these vehicles will be customized and showcased with a Coverking Satin Stretch custom car cover that is designed to keep the Tjin Edtion vehicles "under wraps" and protected until they are revealed at the 2017 SEMA show October 31st through November 3rd.
The Ford vehicles will be on display in the Ford booth, while the Hyundai will be on display at the Pennzoil booth at the show. "We aren't your typical Image Vehicle builder," says Tjin. "We create custom vehicles but we also drive them around. We partnered with Coverking because the custom covers help us showcase and brand who we are, as well as protect our vehicles when they are in transport and on display. These custom vehicles we're building will be taken to various shows throughout the year and will be put on trailers and hauled across the United States. The Coverking Satin Stretch car covers are made from form fitting Lycra and feature an ultra plush and soft liner. Elasticized edges keep the cover tight on these vehicles, allowing the cover to showcase the vehicle's custom shape and style.
Coverking worked with Tjin to come up with the custom graphics and designs for each of the covers for his vehicles, but anyone can customize and design their own car cover using Coverking's design tool on the company website. Coverking will showcase each of these custom vehicles from the SEMA Show in November.
