The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 was shrouded in secrecy until just recently.

The Colorado ZR2's front shows off a new headlight and grille design that the current truck doesn't have. That's because GM has been hard at work developing the Colorado ZR2, which is an interesting redesigned model from the brand. The 2023 Colorado does share the new lamps, but it's likely a bit slimmer and more upright.
The Colorado ZR2's profile, or the way it looks from the front, is different from that of the existing Colorado trucks. The look is bold and muscular, with a broad stance and big chrome wheels.
The 2.8-liter Duramax turbine-diesel engine, a familiar powertrain option for GM and previously found on its Colorado pick-up trucks is expected to propel the new ZR2. However, the automaker has been known to surprise its customers from time to time with new models and engine variants. With each new model, we expect that Chevy may throw in one more powerful variant.
The next-gen Colorado ZR2 is shaping up to be an excellent off-road machine capable of handling a variety of tasks with ease. We're excited to see an increase in pickup trucks with more people-hauling and off-roading capabilities.
