2023 Honda Civic Type R: Chassis Code FL5 Colors
The Civic Type R is one of Honda's more popular cars and with a decent following, there are bound to be some rumors floating around about the upcoming model. Over on the Civic forum, a poster has revealed some information regarding the next generation 2023 Honda Civic Type R model.
Every Honda enthusiast should be excited about what's coming next. The latest piece of information that's nearly here is the chassis code and the paint colors of the Honda Civic.
The most exciting addition to the Civic Type R is the return of Championship White, a pearl white that has adorned all of Honda's Type R models since day one.
The color red has been used on Honda's Formula 1 cars since the 1965 RA272, which featured white with a red circle on it to represent the Japanese flag. The model is available in black and red interior, as well as Crystal Black Pearl, Rallye Red, Sonic Gray Peal.
Although Honda hasn't yet confirmed the new Civic Type R's chassis code, it's fair to assume that it will be the same as the previous model. And if previous experience is anything to go by, it should just get even quicker.
