Alfa Romeo is seeking a new start on American soil, perhaps with a large Car this time.

Alfa Romeo has known several disappointing attempts at gaining a foothold in the North American Market before. But the good news is that the company is not giving up anytime soon, and it’s currently trying to find the perfect formula to charm American customers.

Alfa Romeo officials are still hesitant between going with the trend of crossovers or trying the more timeless segment of sedans. While keeping the possibilities open for making an SUV too. In any case, the decision is bound to be made by the end of the year.

This new plan of Alfa Romeo is just a part of its mother company Stellantis’s strategy. Since its incorporation into the Automotive Giant, Alfa Romeo had to transform into a large production automaker, which means fewer sports cars and more everyday use vehicles.

Larry Dominique, Alfa’s North American boss has previously explained the motive behind the strategy shift within the company. “When you’re a brand that’s focusing on growth and driving customer satisfaction and profitability, it’s very clear what segments you need to participate in,” “When we look at technological investment and investment dollars, we want to make sure we’re covering those core model volume categories first.”
