The special Celebration of Progress event, 2023, will feature the reveal of the Audi Activesphere concept. The ceremony is scheduled for January 26.
Activesphere concept summarized Audi’s vision of the future of electric crossover sedans, the concept is only one of four “sphere” concepts that collectively outline the future of the German carmaker.
The Activesphere concept is said to represent the future off-road Audi models, In the official statement, the company described it as “the perfect companion for ambitious outdoor adventures” the statement elaborated more on the matter; “Whether it’s water sports, skiing, golfing, or challenging mountain roads—the Activesphere concept offers ultimate variability for all activities. While the concept car combines extraordinary elegance with outstanding off-road performance, its communication technology creates a unique experience—beyond the car itself.”
Back to the design, the first teaser images gave us the impression of a Toyota Crown or the Peugeot 408. Based on the sedan-like body and the huge wheels, The Activesphere sits right in the middle between sedans and SUVs. According to Audi, this combination will give the car the ability to seamlessly switch between urban and off-road settings with no lapse in performance.

The Activesphere will soon join its “Sphere” siblings, which also include the Skysphere two-seater electric roadster, the ultra-luxurious Grandsphere, and the minivan-like Urbansphere.
These show cars represent the four horsemen of Audi’s future. All of them are built upon the company’s new PPE platform and show all the still experimental technologies of lighting, driver assistance, and all that can be incorporated into future production models.
