Bollinger reveals cab forward electric fleet truck with up to 200 miles of range

The automaker has unveiled its new all-electric Class 4 truck, the B4, which is expected to help Bollinger achieve a 25% reduction in fuel consumption per 100k mile over the next decade.
“The cab-forward design is a radical change from our previous concepts”. “And that’s on purpose. We listened to our commercial customers and developed what they need for ultimate efficiency.” Bollinger Motors' founder and CEO, Robert Bollinger, stated.
“The B4’s 41-foot turning circle will be better than any comparable wheelbase truck – which will improve driving dynamics in both rural and urban settings,” Bollinger Motors' chief product officer, Kent Harrison, explained.
The vehicles will be built using Bollinger's new e-drive system, which delivers power from the rear axle. This allows for high payloads and long range without sacrificing performance.
The Electric Truck features an all-electric powertrain running on lithium batteries. The solution also includes dual driveshafts for increased payload capacity and better performance under heavy loads. It can be fitted with either one or two batteries, which are each capable of around 100 miles (161 km) of range.
The B4 will qualify for up to a 30% tax credit under the new Commercial Electric Vehicle Tax Credit, which could be worth $40,000." The company says that it’ll offer a pricing and production timeline for the B4 soon.
