Brabus launches a new beast called the P 900 Rocket, a mean-looking tuned truck, set to rival the most famous over-the-top truck models.

Brabus decided to make their latest creation a very exclusive vehicle, making only 10 units for 10 lucky clients. Now let’s get down to the details!

Brabus based the new P 900 Rocket Edition on their XLP pickup truck conversion of the Mercedes-AMG G63, resulting in a 4-door boxy vehicle with a noticeably short wheelbase. The owners will enjoy 900 horsepower and 922 pound-feet of torque coming from a twin-turbocharged 4.5-liter V-8 hiding under the hood. Power is transmitted using a nine-speed automatic. This power is enough to propel the P 900 Rocket from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 and keep going to a 174 mph top speed.

Brabus managed to create a combination of aggressive details for the truck’s front fascia, giving it a face worthy of its monstrous power. From the bottom up, we have the blocky vents in the bumper and a carbon-fiber front splitter with red end plates, replicated in the carbon grille stakes as well, which is by the way backlit red at night, further emphasizing the car’s ominous look. At the very top, we have of course the “PowerView” hood; made of carbon fiber. As you may have noticed, this magical material is used for several body components; you can find it also in the fender flares vents and on the tailgate.

The secret weapon on the P 900 Rocket is a side-exit valve-controlled exhaust, capable of piercing eardrums if pushed to the limit, Brabus urged the owners to be careful when driving in urban areas, to avoid unnecessary road tickets. Thankfully, the exhaust is adjustable through the “Coming Home” setting, where it can be tuned-down a little. The truck rides on 24-inch Monoblock Z “Aero-Disc” wheels, connected to an aluminum coilover suspension that can adjust the ride height by 1.8 inches.

All the power vibes of the body are transmitted to the cabin, with black leather covering the seats, sections of the door and even extending to the foot wells. Almost every item is stamped with the “Rocket Red” accent, always reminding the driver and passengers of the beast they’re riding. Brabus is still tight-lipped about the price, but we know we shouldn’t expect anything less than $500,000.

We all know that it’s mostly about the looks, the impression that a mean-looking truck makes on everyone is priceless, and so if you want that, you should be really careful with protecting and preserving the unique design details on your truck.
