Deus Vayanne Debuts New York Auto Show 2022

 

The New York International Auto Show has revealed some of the most impressive machinery this year, one that stands out is the DEUS Vayanne, the result of a fruitful collaboration between the Austrian Williams Advanced Engineering and the well-known Italdesign.

What makes this particular model so attractive is the performance numbers that the brand claims, besides its exclusivity, with only 99 models scheduled for production.

The automaker attributes some really impressive numbers to this car, especially for an electric model, the Vayanne is expected to produce more than 2,200 hp (1,640 kw/2,230 PS), allowing it to reach 62 mph in 1.99 secs and keep going up to more than 248 mph. Williams Advanced Engineering proudly states that this is only possible thanks to their own new electric platform.

Contrary to what you expect from a hyper car with these numbers, the Vayanne was built to roam the public roads too, DEUS made sure to give it 4.7-inches of ground clearance, giving it the ability to pass any obstacles on normal roads. The car makers say that this is the essence of their design philosophy “effortlessly combine exquisite design and functionality with cutting-edge technology in the EV hyper car segment,”.

However, the car’s design features are not as impressive as the performance numbers, the front is reminiscent of a McLaren, while the back is dominated by a huge infinity loop element. 

Going with the trend, DEUS has chosen sustainable materials for their new interior, but it’s still using recycled leather instead of full vegan interior. The dashboard also didn’t stray away from current design standards, with the large digital cluster and control display.

DEUS announced that the deliveries for the Vayanne will start in 2025, but it’s strongly advised not to wait that long to make an order, considering the limited nature of the car. You need to be early in order to reserve your place among the lucky 99.
