Less than a year after the launch of the 296 GTB. Ferrari has decided that it needs a more “open” sibling, that’s why we now have the new 296 Gran Turismo Spider (GTS), an awesome V6 sports car with all the Ferrari charm and a retractable roof.

The weight of the Ferrari 296 GTS is 3,395 pounds which is 154 lbs. more than its coupe sibling.
Now that we have admired the new roof, let’s talk a little bit about the engine. The Ferrari 296 GTS runs on a 3.0-liter V6, capable of producing 663 horsepower and 830 when combined with the electric motor’s power.
This setup allows the car to reach 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and keep going as high as 205 mph. But in case you want to go completely green with your Ferrari, the electric motor offers 84 mph top speed and a 15.5-mile range provided by a 7.45-kWh battery pack.
