Isker Ronin Four Seat Convertible
Fisker Automotive has previously released a bunch of teaser images of the upcoming Fisker Ronin EV, those photos created an unexpected misunderstanding, leading a lot of people to believe that the company is in the process of making a new sedan. Now Fisker has cleared the confusion specifying that the Ronin is a four-seat convertible EV with an outstanding performance.
According to Henrik Fisker, the new Ronin will beat every other EV in terms of range, with an estimated 660 miles on the WLTP cycle. Even if the EPA figures show a more modest number, it would still be better than any other current offering on the market. The Ronin tires are expected to touch public roads in 2024, that’s when we will see how realistic these claims are.
Henrik Fisker elaborated on the car’s specs and performance, saying that it will be "a showcase for our internal engineering, powertrain and software capabilities"
With numbers like these, it looks like the company’s investment is paying off, especially after opening the Magic Works development facility last year in the UK.
This special facility is working currently on some special features, like a battery integrated into the vehicle structure capable of powering a three-motor drivetrain that will push the Ronin to the 60-mph mark in less than 3 seconds, similar to Wiesmann’s Thunderball performance.
Range and speed are not the only features that Fisker Automotive is counting on, they have also a vegan interior, showing how environmentally conscious the brand is, and how it’s trying to appeal to a wider range of customers.
Willing buyers should put aside the considerable sum of $200,000 to reserve a place behind the wheel of the new Ronin.
Ronin is not the company’s only project, Fisker Automotive is working on several other ambitious projects as well, like the Ocean SUV, in addition to two other models, all due before 2025.
This rich lineup will help Fisker to reach its goals of selling one million EVs by 2027 and one million cars each year by 2030.
