The truck rentalMavericks now for rent at u haul

The truck rental company U-Haul has recently added the Ford Maverick to its pickup truck fleet, to the surprise of those still waiting for it to be made available in dealerships.

Car renting is already a controversial business, mainly due to the relatively high renting rates and cars’ conditions. U-Haul is maybe one of the few that offers a reasonable price for their pickup truck fleet. However, the company entered recently the circle of controversy due to the presence of some new Ford maverick trucks in its parking lots, in a time when numerous customers are still sitting in long waiting lists, contemplating the day when they can drive their brand-new maverick for the first time.

This particular Maverick here was discovered by a Maverick fan in a U-Haul parking lot somewhere in Florida, the discovery left mixed feelings among the public; some seemed optimistic saying that this is an indication that the waiting lists are now moving at a faster rate, while others felt a bit of resentment, wondering if fleet operating companies have some kind of priority over regular customers.

Anyway, the Maverick is a great, practical truck, and you can’t blame anyone for loving it. The compact utility truck may be smaller than its larger sibling, the F-150, but it offers a lower bed -lower by 4 inches to be precise-, facilitating the loading and unloading of heavy equipment. Its second strong point is the fuel economy; the Maverick's hybrid powertrain offers 42 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 37 mpg combined, which are indeed solid numbers, especially when compared to other similar available offerings like the GMC Sierra 1500 and its 20 mpg on the highway.

In the end, seeing Maverick trucks sitting in parking lots like this may be intriguing; however, we should note that the few spotted Mavericks are no indication of the total number that U-Haul is operating at the moment. All the spotted trucks seem to be from Florida, and only a few location pages have listed it among its trucks.
