2030 Lamborghini First EV SUV Urus
The future of SUVs is looking brighter for the Lamborghini brand.
The Lamborghini Urus SUV is set to get a follow-up, but unlike its predecessor, it will be an all-electric vehicle. The new vehicle will be a second, all-new 2+2 SUV which will launch the brand's electric revolution.
The model will be one of the most progressive on the market and will mark Lamborghini's addition of a fourth model line to its range of vehicles. According to Autocar, it will be the automaker's first fully electric crossover which will arrive in 2028.
Lamborghini has decided to pursue this strategy for the future due to the company's current uphill battle. The issue is regulations, both current and projected rules that the automaker is concerned about having to comply with; however, the automaker does not appear to be giving up.
"Let's say that we will welcome harmonization of global plans. There are so many markets with so many different plans that we must take all the time we have to consider the best route forward. It's not simple," the executive informed Autocar. "Of course, we must make decisions well ahead of any deadlines, and it might be that we can't wait for the regulations to commit, but this strategy with the two fully electric cars is a decision that gives us more time to consider."

According to Autocar, the first full electric Lamborghini is expected to take inspiration from the Lamborghini Estoque sedan concept car, which was never produced. Both EVs are expected to hit the market by 2030.
