A new unknown Honda sports car has been discovered by chance recently, the new car has some strong Acura NSX vibes.
A regular late-night errand ended with discovering a real treasure. A shiny sports car caught the attention of the man in question. And he ended up taking some precious pictures of the mysterious Honda from a neighboring parking lot.
At first glance, the car looks like a smaller Acura NSX, but no one knows what it is yet.
Some observers may suggest that this car is related to the models that Honda announced earlier this year. However, the general shape of this car looks nothing like the teaser images that the company has revealed. The front-end styling, the appearance of the large side air intakes, and the location of the cockpit look more similar to another unknown project that was leaked back in 2017.[i]
The picture we have here shows a glass-canopied coupe, wrapped around exoskeleton-like A-pillars, two seats and a left-side steering wheel. The extremely short nose suggests that the car is a mid-engine or maybe a mid-motor, depending on what power source Honda chose for it.
This little detail may bring up again the succession story of the mid-engine S660 sports car. In any case, With the Acura NSX retiring soon, we sure wish that this new model would be its worthy successor. All we can wait for now is to see more of it in the light of day.
