The Lamborghini Aventador replacement is about to break cover, it was spotted recently in a spy video, with an interesting Six Exhaust Tips design.
We’re effectively living the last days of Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated V12, and this recent video is a chilling reminder of that. The Italian automaker made clear last year that the Ultimae is the final alteration of the legendary Aventador, and that a worthy replacement is already revving its engine. But without the traditional V12.
According to Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the new car will run on a new electrified V12, the first of its kind on a Lamborghini supercar. This was confirmed several times in spy photos showing the car’s plug-in powertrain, and the hybrid mode on the car’s digital instrument display. The car will also have an all-electric mode.

Now, by going back to the video, the big reveal is of course the odd 6 exhaust tip setup, in addition to the very obvious yellow high-voltage stickers. Based on previous spy photos, we can safely say that the large two exhausts are fake, previous test units featured the four smaller exhausts only, arranged in pairs similar to the ones we see here.
For the general design, the car will obviously retain the traditional Lamborghini design language, mainly by keeping the iconic wedge shape while further details are still hidden under camouflage. For the time being, we can only keep faith in the company’s promise to deliver a unique design.
On the interior, though, we already know that the car will feature a dual display, probably to separate the climate controls from the infotainment system on the center console.

The Aventador will officially debut in March 2023, the date on which the new car will be officially introduced to the world. Journalists and car enthusiasts are equally curious about the first electric Lamborghini, and the company will definitely invest in this rising interest by launching a long teaser campaign before the launch date. So, get ready to follow the breadcrumbs that Lamborghini will leave on the path leading to March 2023.
