The 2022 LA Auto Show kicked off this year. Since the concept of EVs is becoming hot, Mini has taken it one step further. Mini's new EV charger comes in the shape of a giant RC car controller.
The Mini had some new cars on display. One of them was a sporty-looking convirtible that was equipped with almost every feature you could imagine. But the coolest was none other than its giant RC car controller charger. This giant EV charger takes inspiration from professional electric racing car controllers and uses the same color scheme for its signature white and black markers on its surface.
From its top to its sides, the charger is painted black with white accents.

To create the EV charger in the shape of a giant RC car controller, Mini took an actual Mini wheel and tire assembly from its racing cars and used it as the base for the EV charger. This allowed them to create a lightweight, yet durable charger that would be perfect for charging vehicles and better handling for the charger itself.
Mini added some extra features to make this charger even more efficient and user-friendly than usual. They included a 10-inch screen located in the base of the charger so that users don’t have to wait outside while charging their EVs.
The new MINI charger will be on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show before heading out on tour to several different Mini dealerships across California.
