A new week with some new promising actors on the car market theater, and it looks like BMW is stealing the show again!
#1 2023 BMW i7 Debuts
Finally, we got to uphold the new i7 in all its glory, the 7th generation BMW brought with it some very radical changes in all perceived aspects, starting from the powertrain, implemented technologies, style, and especially the front’s new design with the signature split grill taking a new form, flanked with the new split headlights as well, this new combination may look strange to us, but everybody is expected to get used to it, especially with the awaited launch of the XM later in 2022, a car that will adopt a similar design.
#2 2023 Lexus RZ 450e Debut
Lexus is making a new bold attempt to enter the EV market, with its new RZ 450e, the car was developed from scratch to be the brand’s first dedicated EV car, this particular model holds more promise, unlike the first shy attempt, the featured the UX 300e, a model based on a modified ICE platform.
#3 Mercedes-AMG A 35, CLA 35 Debut
Mercedes AMG A 35 CLA 35 Edition 55
Mercedes is still celebrating the 55 years of AMG, the latest models to join the celebrations are the Mercedes-AMG A 35 and CLA 35, the newly updated models are currently exclusive to European markets, with no clear plans to enter the US any time soon.
The new A 35 and CLA 35, essentially received some new body modifications, mainly the stripe on the lower door panels that shows a portion of the AMG logo, and a new set of 19-inch multi-spoke wheels.
#4 Ford Tourneo Teased ahead of May 9 Debut

Ford is well into its electrification plans, working diligently to meet its promises of going full electric by 2030, and going exclusively electric in Europe markets for its passenger car fleet.
The new edition to this segment is the new Tourneo, an electric van, destined to be commercialized in Europe, the new van is only a part of the 2024 lineup, composed of a collection of new EVs that includes the Mustang Mach-E, an electric Puma crossover as well as "medium-size" and "sport” crossovers making an appearance within the next couple of years.
#5 Kia EV9 Coming to the US
Happy news for the US EV lovers, KIA has finally cleared the uncertainties about the sales of the new EV9,
Kia has revealed a production version of its revolutionary Concept SUV, but with no mention of US availability.
Kia stated that the car will have a 300 miles range, with no major differences between the US model and its global counterpart. There were some hints to the price as well, placing it at around $50 000, without accounting for the destination charges.
#6 2023 BMW M2 Teased
Although the i7 is still all the lights, let’s not forget that BMW is working on other projects as well, one of them is the all-new M2.
BMW has made an official announcement about it, a few days after it was spotted on the Nürburgring, the 2023 M2 will apparently be manufactured exclusively in Mexico,
The San Luis Potosí plant will be in charge of producing the entire global supply of the new model, starting toward the end of 2022. This plan will be most beneficial to Mexico, it increases the factory’s productivity, already assembling the 3 Series and the new 2 Series Coupe. Subsequently increasing its staff by 800 new employees.
#7 Mazda MX-30 PHEV To Debut by March 2023
The MX-30, Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid crossover, will appear in American showrooms at the end of 2023, according to company officials. The company also confirmed today that it will bring the rotary range-extending engine that powers the MX-30 to production. The crossover is not the only car Mazda plans to launch in America in the near future. Mazda also plans to bring its new rotary range-extending engine to production, which should help out the struggling automaker tremendously as it experiments with a variety of new technologies and tries to bring some excitement back into its vehicles. The new range extender will be used in a vehicle called the MX-30 PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle), which is expected to arrive in American showrooms next year. The engine can be used as a generator for an electric motor or as a range extender for a gasoline engine like those found in conventional hybrids.
