Volkswagen Golf R 20 Years 2022

Volkswagen has finally announced the 2020 Golf R20, a special edition of the compact hatchback that commemorates 20 years since the launch of the R32.

The 2020 Golf R20 will get an extra dose of power from its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and will come in both Europe and North America in mid-2022. Pricing isn't yet available, but it's likely to be one of the most expensive Golfs ever made.

The 2020 Golf R20 is set to be "the most powerful Golf ever available from the factory," according to Volkswagen, with 328 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft of torque on tap. That's an increase of 34 horsepower over last year's model, which was only offered in Europe. The extra power comes thanks to a larger turbocharger and an improved intercooler system, as well as an increased compression ratio from 10:1 to 11:1.

Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition

The demand for the 4Runner SUV grew by 12.1 percent in the U.S. during the first half of this year, according to a report released by Toyota Motor North America. The fifth-generation model has been on sale since 2009, and in 2023 it will have a special edition celebrating four decades of the 4Runner.

The 40th Anniversary Special Edition will feature a retro makeover with colored stripes and body graphics reminiscent of the 1980s when the SUV was first introduced to the American market. In addition to standard features like heated seats and a power rear liftgate, it will come equipped with special edition wheels and an upgraded suspension system that promises increased off-road capability.
