#8 Bugatti Mistral Roadster Revealed

Mistral

The new Mistral is a roadster that's a bit wild and elegant but surprisingly friendly.

The Mistral is named after the Mistral wind that blows across the Rhône River valley in France, and it features design cues derived from Bugatti's Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid (a car that was created during World War II). The Chiron also had an influence on this latest creation from Bugatti. The rear light configuration allowed Bugatti to install vents in between the X beams, giving it an airy look similar to the La Voiture Noire.

The styling is also reminiscent of the Divo, a car created for Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1955

Koenigsegg

The CC850 is the new flagship model of Koenigsegg. It's also the first model to be built on the company's new assembly line at its new factory in Ängelholm, Sweden. The CC850 is essentially a carbon copy of the CC8 that was launched 20 years ago: both cars have almost identical styling, but the CC850 is very different under the hood.

The CC850 uses a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine made by Jesko, making 1,185 hp (884 kW). Maximum torque is 1,022 pound-feet (1,385 Newton-meters).

In addition to its powertrain upgrades, there are several other differences between this model and its predecessor: it has a six-speed manual shifter operating the nine-speed transmission; it has carbon ceramic brakes; it has upgraded aerodynamics; it has a slightly redesigned exterior, and it has a slightly redesigned interior with more carbon fiber parts.
