After a busy week at the North American International Auto Show, the stage is cleared for some very special car models to make their first entrance.

#1 Citroen Berlingo 2CV Fourgonnette Debuts with Retro Look For Modern Van

The Citroen Berlingo has undergone a rebirth. The Italian coachbuilder Caselani has crafted a set of retro-style body kits for the new Citroen Berlingo 2CV Fourgonnette, giving this van an authentic retro look.

Citroen officially licenses the conversion from Caselani designer David Obendorfer. Powertrain and tech remain unchanged, but the car has a new grille to give it style from edge to edge. The revised hood is designed with an M-shaped outline and Citroen chevrons in the center. Large round headlights are positioned at the front of each long fender.

After the Renault 5 Turbo and the Turbo 2, Renault is revising the hot hatch, preparing it for the transition to the electric era. This car with the electric engine got the “Turbo” name just like all models that got rid of their combustion engines, followed here by “3E” to signal it's the third in its series and has an electric drivetrain. The concept is a high-performance derivative of the Renault 5 Prototype, equipped with two electric motors attached to the rear wheels and powered by a 42-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

#4 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance Debuts

The original 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG was an icon in the automotive world. With 451 horsepower and a 6.2-liter V8 engine, Mercedes basically jammed the largest-displacement engine into its smallest car. Since then, the compact AMG flagship has gone through a few changes: the engine was replaced in the 2016 model year by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter unit, and now the brand decided to downsize it to just a 2.0-liter inline-four.

While these changes may disappoint some enthusiasts, there's still hope for this new 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance, the 2.0-liter inline-four may not seem like much compared to some of its rivals' engines, but it's still more than enough power to make this compact sports car feel quick and responsive in every situation.

The ASX will debut in Europe as a compact crossover vehicle, offering ICE, hybrid, and PHEV variants. Sales begin in March 2023.

The ASX has a sculpted exterior styling that focuses on a front grille bracket-shaped for a sporty look. The headlights have a complicated shape, with hook-shaped running lights below the main lamps. For color options, there are six different shades to choose from on top of an upper-level trim that can be had with a black roof depending on the trim level.

For cabin amenities, there are three different instrument clusters to choose from, depending on the trim level; an analog one with a 4.2-inch screen for the entry variant, a 7.0-inch digital instrument display, or a 10.25-inch version for the range-topping model.
