Pagani is building up the hype with a new teaser video, before the imminent launch of a new model, called the Pagani C10
Pagani is the youngest Italian hypercar manufacturer, with only 30 years of experience; a relatively short time compared to its ancient rivals.
This fact didn’t stop the company from taking solid footing in the hypercar segment. What makes the story even more exciting is the fact that Pagani made journey, Pagani is gearing up for the launch of its four its name by producing only 3 long-lived models. Now after this impressive th model, the C10.
Indeed, this is not the first time we hear about the C10. In the past few months, the model has been spotted several times doing test rounds while wearing camouflage. But with the launch date getting closer than ever, Pagani has decided to do things differently. The company has published a very special video of the boss himself, Horacio Pagani sketching the new car. The video doesn’t show much, only some lines outlining a wheel arch and fender, but at least we’ve got confirmation for the name, C10 was very clearly written on the sketch. A caption accompanied the video, saying: “about to write a new chapter in our story, a celebration, and affirmation of the vision which has always been our inspiration.”
The new Pagani follows the same design philosophy as its predecessors, a lot of details are taken straight from the Zonda and the Huayra, maybe the most distinctive detail about the C10 is the new headlight design. Pagani opted for a single housing instead of two like we’re used to seeing on previous models. The C10 is also marked by a flatter nose, a wider greenhouse, and a slightly modified front fascia. On the back, the car sports twin vertical tail lights flanking a quad-tipped exhaust mounted high up, near the integrated wing.
Under the hood, matters are already decided; the C10 will carry a 6.0-liter V12 engine with twin turbochargers capable of producing more than 800 hp. The transmission will happen through an automatic or dual-clutch system. When asked about the engine power, Pagani has stated that the set goal for the C10 was to have less weight rather than more power, but what about electric power? There’s still no mention of any electric powertrain components for the C10. It’s still too early to say whether the car will have that option in the future or not, but Pagani has assured everyone that EV research within the company development department is still going as planned, keeping our hopes of seeing an electric Pagani alive.
