The company, a subsidiary of CH Auto, was among the first to receive a manufacturing license for electric vehicles in China. But their first model, The K50 was a major failure for the brand. With only a few hundred units sold, Qiantu has a really bad start, leading it to stop operations entirely in 2020.
Now that it has received new funding, it will be returning with the Qiantu K20. – still insisting on the “K” despite the bad memories.
The vehicle weighs just 780 kg (1,700 pounds), which is about half that of most similar vehicles in its class. With a powerful powertrain, the two-seater vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds.
The company is yet to announce the exact range of the battery pack; however, it is confirmed that the single-motor variant can travel up to 300 miles.

The electric vehicle is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, according to Cnevpost.
The Qiantu K20’s dual-motor four-wheel-drive version has a total power of more than 160 kW and a total torque of more than 290 Nm, according to information previously announced by the company.
The company is also providing a battery rental option for its K20 model, a model that is available in China.
