A concept vehicle is the next step toward making a real Ram 1500 EV.

Building on a solid track record of commercial success, multiple vehicle sales, and industry-leading research and development capabilities, the Ram is poised to showcase its first all-electric concept truck at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

The automaker is no stranger to advancement, a leaked render of the new "Revolution BEV" Concept shows how they plan to redefine the energy consumption, cost, and design of pickup trucks. The company says that this new concept vehicle will evolve its existing technology and use lithium-ion batteries as its primary power source.

Ram's electrification strategy is designed to help the company reduce its fleet greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2030, compared to 2014 levels. The company has already started investing in electric vehicles and advanced technology, as well as developing new models with electric powertrains.[1]
