Spy Shots: '24 Silverado EV Prototype Hits Street
Chevrolet is getting ready to take a test drive of its all-electric vehicle, with spy photographers catching some of the first peeks at the '24 Silverado EV on the road.
The 24 Silverado EV Prototype has been in the works for some time already, and this is the first time we have seen this vehicle on the roads, it appears to be a preview of a production model that was unveiled at the 2022 CES. However, it looks like the final version will have a different style than what we saw in Vegas. The new pickup looks more like the Avalanche circa 2010.
Chevy plans to use the largest battery pack in a production vehicle to date, which should enable its new Silverado EV to achieve 400 miles of range on a single charge.
The all-electric vehicle will have a Twin Motor design with two motors on each axle, which will power all four wheels. The 0-60 time is said to be under 4.5 seconds, which is impressive for an electric vehicle.
According to the automaker, the Silverado EV will also have a range of up to 100 miles in 10 minutes of DC fast charging and has been designed to adapt to the needs and demands of drivers.
