The New Electric Ram Truck is Sleek and Sporty
RAM is riding the EV truck wave! just like Ford, Chevrolet and the others, Ram is announcing a new electric truck. But we can already see that it is a bit different. RAM’s truck takes after sports cars more than trucks, unlike other top truck makers.
RAM has published a limited number of rendered images of its new truck. But they were enough to make out a number of key details, like low-slung, aerodynamic body, the full LED lighting along the grille and the bed, in addition to a new stylized RAM logo on the front.
The truck’s cabin is a four door but with narrow back windows, the wheel arches are high and square, giving enough space for massive off-road tires. The final touch is the laid-back sports car style windshield, further emphasizing the trucks special orientation towards speed rather than brute force.
We previously taught that “revolution” was the truck’s name, but apparently Stellantis is publicizing the word, as a general name for all its new generation EV models, across all its dependent brands.
The new EV truck is a crucial part of the great electrification plan being implemented by Stellantis. But no further details about it, stuff like the interior, safety, warranty, or power are still a secret. We only know that the truck will have a 500-mile range, a new fast-charging system, and will be able to tow more than 10,000 pounds.
