Next-Gen Ford Mustang Debuting Detroit Auto Show

The Detroit auto show is coming to life again and promising to host a very special guest this year, the all-new S650 Mustang.

After a two years hiatus, the Detroit auto show is coming back with a bang. Promising to host the official global debut of a very special model, the S650 Mustang, a car that we still know very little about.

The event will take place from 14 to September 25, a week of celebration, first for the comeback of the traditional auto show, and second for the birth of a new version of the legendary Ford muscle car.

The S650 Mustang will probably come in both V-8 and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines just like the current model. The six-speed manual and 10-speed automatic transmissions will also be the same because both models share the same platform. The new development will be the introduction of a hybrid version, this speculation is based on Ford’s filling a patent for a V-8 engine with two electric motors.

Ford has promised to disclose more details about the next generation Mustang as the release date draws closer. It’s worth noting that the 6^th generation currently in the market was revealed back in 2015 and then it received a small design update in 2018.

Ford also declared that the Flat Rock, Michigan assembly plant will take care of producing the new Mustang just like it did the older model.
